Queen's Comprehensive Genetics Center serves the Western Pacific. With expertise in Prenatal and Adult genetics, Queen's professionals are able to provide a full range of genetic consulting and testing, including:

Adult
Adult onset disease can often be delayed or prevented. In many instances, knowing your genes can save your life. Genetics now plays a crucial role in many common conditions. Our services will continue to expand as we learn more about the role of genetics in the disease process. Current indications include:- Personal or family history of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE)
- Early onset (<50) personal or family history of cancer
- Early onset (<50) personal or family history of cardiac disease or stroke
- Personal or family history of neurological disorder
- Personal or family history of hemochromatosis (iron overload).
- Symptoms can include diabetes, hepatic carcinoma, cirrhosis, joint pain, and chronic fatigue
- Personal or family history of chronic respiratory disease
