CareResource Hawaii is a home health agency that provides nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social worker services and personal care services in the comfort of home. Services are initiated through physician orders and include:- Disease management
- Wound and ostomy care and instruction
- Diabetes care and education
- Intravenous infusion and enteral therapies
- Medication management
- Nutritional counseling
- Telemonitoring
- Fall risk Assessment and Home Safety evaluation
- Transfer, balance and gait training
- Therapeutic exercises/activities to restore functional daily living skill, self care and home management
- Adaptive equipment recommendations
- Psychosocial assessment
- Community resource referral
- Short term counseling
- Speech and language communication treatment
- Swallowing techniques instruction
- Personal care assistance
Home care services are also provided through the private duty division. These private pay services are directed by the client and/or family member and generally do not require physician orders. These services include:
- Personal care
- Respite care
- Medication reminders
- Companionship
- Escorted transportation
- Inter-Island, domestic, and international travel companions
All branches of CareResource Hawaii are licensed by the state of Hawaii as Home Health Agencies and are Joint Commission Accredited.
